JUST 4 TEENS
If you are a young person involved in an abusive relationship, you need to remember that no one deserves to be abused or threatened. Abuse is not just physical. It can also be verbal, emotional, or sexual.
Staff who work for this service:
Te Ara Hou is an education programme that provides young people with tools that will alter unhealthy views on abusive relationships.
This programme explores the nature of violence and ways to prevent it. It also examines the causes of anger and healthy ways to express to it. Our individual and group programmes cover topics such as assertive communication, healthy relationships vs. abusive relationships and goal setting.
Every Friday 4pm - 6pm
If you want help or support, you can drop in or you can telephone or email to book in a visit with one of our staff.
