Family Focus Rotorua is a charitable organisation that is staffed by skilled people.
We are here to make a difference for families in difficult circumstances.
We offer a range of specific services and programmes to meet the needs of families in our community.

FAMILY FOCUS OBJECTIVES:
Increasing the opportunities for safety for women and children.
Empowering families by providing opportunities to advocate against oppression, to oppose discrimination, and to enhance self-esteem.
Educating and informing families on issues contributing to domestic violence.
Ensuring children and young people are provided with safe, appropriate options for healthy development.

FAMILY FOCUS CORE SERVICES:

• Women’s Support – crisis support for women experiencing family violence, advocacy, assistance with domestic protection orders and information and options over the telephone.
• Family violence prevention and education programmes.
• Whanau Support – support and education aimed at the 'whole whanau'.
• Counselling
• Budget Advice (We are an affiliated member of the New Zealand Federation of Family Budgeting Services).
• OSCAR in the City – a WINZ approved out of school care and recreation programme for children aged 5-13 years.
• Seminars and programmes designed to strengthen families.
